Their bravery is immense. They stand strong against this madness. Fighting back against this corrupt, malign attempt to expand a failing state and destroy an independent country.
There is so much at stake here.
This will affect more than people may realize.
At this turning point in history, the stances of individuals and what they demand from their governments does and will matter.
The rise of the far right must be acknowledged, and it must be stopped.
Media outlets must stop reporting on events as though they were reviewing a film.
This is our life. These losses are ours, this reality is what we must live with, deal with, fight with.
Bravery is everywhere, and we must be brave.
