Has it really been 10 years since Access All Areas was first published?
It’s hard to believe. It’s been a long, strange trip, as another band once said.
The excitement around the Access trilogy, and the first book in particular, the newness of it all, the readers who shared their thoughts – it was amazing.
I looked over some of the reviews over the weekend, and was still astonished by the strength of the reactions to this world belonging to Tristan and Lily. There are moments that are still so clear in my mind – I look back as though it were a photograph from a holiday, and see them both still standing, looking at each other.
So I’ve joined the collective madness known as Cyber Monday (I feel awkward capitalizing it, but there it is, give it its title), and reduced the prices on all the books to .99 cents or its worldwide equivalent.
I’ll be publishing some extracts from the reviews over the coming week.
If you haven’t read all the books, now is a good time! If you have, perhaps you know someone else who might like them.
Reading over the holidays, once things start to slow down a bit, is one of the pleasures of winter. In Iceland, doesn’t everyone offer a book as a gift on Christmas Eve, and everyone spends the evening reading? There’s a place I’d like to visit…
10 years. Hard to believe.
Happy Holidays to all.
