Yesterday, I was taking the subway, and looking over people’s shoulders, as you do, when you’re bored, and there’s train traffic ahead. Sitting in the tunnel has a limited shelf life. It doesn’t take long before you’re thinking about the tons of concrete ahead of you, and then there’s the whole river part with concrete, dirt, and an entire ocean over your head. So I looked over at someone’s Kindle, and it struck me – I could one day be standing next to someone reading my book. How surreal an experience that would be.
